Stock for Sale
The majority of the flock lambs in January and February annually. Surplus breeding stock is usually available from June onwards. Edingale breeding stock and store sheep are usually available from the Northern Area Show and Sale, St Boswells (www.johnswan.co.uk) or privately at Greenlaw Mill Farm by arrangement.
The flock comprises 25 ewes and followers and runs along side the commercial flocks of Suffolk and Texel cross gimmers and the commercial herd of 30 suckler cows and followers. Suffolk and Texel cross gimmers are available annually from St Boswells in September (www.johnswan.co.uk) and store cattle and replacement heifers direct or from A.O Bell, Gordon.
